Johnny's Health Blog 7-22-15
Good morning everyone! Today's blood sugar count was 134. It's back on the downward trend which is great! The target for me is to be 130 or less or at least that's what the instructions say is a good level. My goal is 100 or less and being in the 90's would be just fine. On the exercise front I'm back into the swing of things. I'm back to doing my hindu squats and push ups and it's already producing results two weeks into it. My posture is better, I have muscles in my legs I forgot I had and the squats help to stabilize my lower back. I do three sets of each exercise while taking a 1-2 minute break between sets. That workout takes about 15 minutes so there's no excuse of "I don't have the time" anymore.
Today's health tip is about diabetes AGAIN. It's the reason I made these life changes and it's the number one disease these days but it can be reversed! No it's not easy and it requires a lifestyle change but it's worth it in the end. This article touches on some things I didn't know before including early dementia being found in type 2 diabetics. It also talks about the lifestyle changes you have to make in order to beat this disease without the drugs, which is why I write this blog! Speaking of drugs this is the one they gave me and it collects dust!
That's all for today! Tomorrows blog will be delayed until evening as tomorrow is my 3 month check up day! You all KNOW I'm looking forward to that appointment! LIVE TO WIN NOW!
Johnny
